When you’re going about your camming business, it’s always important to have the very best hardware that you can afford. It’s a very lucky thing that the cost of technology is getting lower and lower, while the quality continues to get better and better. Tech Radar has put together a comprehensive list of the best cams out there. What I did was took things a step further and tried each of them out. Best Webcams For Exclusive Private Cam Chat Sessions (Updated 2018)

Here’s my most up-to-date list of the top tech as far as webcams go. If you’re looking to have an HD camming experience that’s of superb quality and technology, then the list below is for you.

AUSDOM 1080P HD Webcam
AUSDOM 1080P HD Webcam

Starting out with the worst of the best, we have the AUSDOM 1080P HD Webcam Camera with a Built-in Microphone. This thing looks awesome and lands squarely on the least expensive side of the spectrum. Like all webcams on this list, it does full HD with 1080P resolution. It can take 12MP stills and pretty much do everything you need. Unfortunately, it has one serious drawback: it’s manual focus. Depending on what you’re going to be doing with it, you might not have the ability to constantly monitor and adjust it to stay clear. Spending most of your time being blurry negates the high definition pretty quickly.

Holding down the mid-range is the Logitech C615. This little baby is right around the middle when it comes to cost and is extremely portable. It can be folded up and thrown into any bag that you have when you need to travel. You can take your cam fun with you wherever you go and never have to worry about anything. On top of that, it can be set up on a tripod and swivel around 360˚. It’s extremely versatile and can pretty much do whatever you need it to, including taking stills and recording video.

Next up is the Logitech C920. It’s Mac compatible, unlike the others, so it may be your best bet if you’ve sided with Steve Jobs and his buddies. It has all the bells and whistles that you would expect from a camcorder. The focus is automatic, the audio is in stereo and it automatically adjusts for low light. It’s not the most or least expensive, but it’s one of the best. Depending on how much money you want to drop on it, this one might just give you the best of all worlds.

Logitech C922 Pro Stream Webcam
Logitech C922 Pro Stream

Finally, we come to the Logitech C922 Pro Stream. Yes, it’s expensive, but it’s worth it if you have the cash. It can stream in 60fps, which is something that none of the other cams on this list can claim to do. It has stereo audio, autofocus, auto light control and low light correction. This thing will do it all for you and all you have to do is have fun. In fact, you can even stream with the lights off and this little guy will still make you visible. One more fun feature is the ability to remove the background. If you don’t want to show where you are, all you’ll have to do is click a button.

Conclusion: Buy One And Enjoy The Quality!

Whatever webcam you decide to go with will do the trick if it’s on the list. Many people ignore this list, go out and buy something cheap and they totally regret it. Don’t be that person. Instead, go pick up a webcam that works and start using one of the many cam sites I’ve reviewed over the years. If you’re going to start with any, start with Camsoda.
